What document should you bring?
A little preparation helps your appointment move smoothly without making it feel rushed. Have the complete document available, but wait to sign until the notary confirms when the signature should be made.
If the document does not include a notarial certificate, ask its preparer or recipient which one is required before the appointment; Liz cannot choose it for you.
Who needs to be there?
Every signer should have a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID available, such as a driver’s license or passport. Make sure every required signer can be present and is willing and able to sign.
What will Liz confirm?
Liz will contact you with the appointment location, timing and any situation-specific preparation details. She can explain the notarization process, but she cannot select documents, draft language or provide legal advice.
